| Goal | The goal of this project is to celebrate math and science accomplishments and foster a growth mindset in fifth grade students. |
| Description | This project will include eight custom yard signs that read "Mrs. Ryan is so proud of me!" on one side and "I am a goal getter with a growth mindset." on the other side. Students will work on individual goals throughout the year. Once a student has achieved a specific goal, that student will be able to bring their yard sign home for the weekend. The yard sign will then be displayed in that student's yard or in front of their apartment complex. This will let neighbors and the community know just how proud we are of that student's hard work and dedication. |
| Benefits | Students will begin to see that working toward a goal and accomplishing that goal is meaningful and should be celebrated. This project will bring awareness to growth mindset, conversations within families and communities and joy to students. |
