Description | Students will attend a college fair showcasing over 15 colleges from around the state, including the University of Florida and Daytona State College. Students will listen to a speaker series of 3 keynote speakers that will share information about how to prepare for post secondary opportunities and what students should be actively doing now. After learning about the different college opportunities that Florida has to offer, students will be admitted to the Orlando Magic basketball game, also held at Amway Arena. |
Benefits | Students will benefit from this project by having an opportunity to learn about colleges in the state of Florida. Students who would not otherwise be able to visit colleges in person will have an opportunity to learn about their options after high school. |
