A variety of options that enable students to choose seating that best meets their learning needs. Options include stability balls, stability chairs, stools, and wobble stools.

Benefits

One benefit of flexible seating is improved physical health. There is increased oxygen flow, blood flow, and core strength. These health benefits increase student focus and alertness. A second benefit of flexible seating is choice. Students are able to select the type of seating that best meets their learning needs, empowering them to make choices that will increase their likelihood for academic success. A third benefit of flexible seating is comfort. An uncomfortable student, is a distracted and unproductive student. Comfort enables students to focus on learning.
