| Goal | The goal of this project is to put together STEM stations/bins for my students to access during math and science. These bins will be hands on material used to help students in the areas of math and science. The bins will correlate with our standards and what we are learning or reinforce standards already taught. |
| Description | Students can work together to imagine, plan, design, construct, and engineer exciting hands on projects with these materials. With the funds I am purchasing some kits that are already put together that have problems where students have to think to construct to find a solution. The funds will also go to purchasing materials like legos,magnetic tiles, models and much more. |
| Benefits | When using STEM bins, the students will be *Thinking divergently, inventively, imaginatively, and creatively *Solving a problem with specified constraints on time and materials *Building and improving artistic design and sculptural skills *Applying structures to real world designs *Constructing a variety of two dimensional shapes, three dimensional shapes, lines, and angles using basic geometry *Examining multiple perspectives in visual arts *Building fine motor skills While they are doing all of this they will also be having fun! |
