| Description | Mystery Science is a collection of highly engaging online modules covering a wide range of topics related to fourth grade standards. Each hands-on module presents a mystery and students are challenged and motivated to push their thinking forward as they look at a question or problem, discuss with other students, use teamwork to investigate and collect evidence and come to an independent conclusion. Mystery Science revives students’ excitement and wonder as there are plenty of opportunities for kids to reflect and puzzle over commonly asked questions. They thrive on the suspense of the investigations along with the thrill of their discoveries. Totally engaged students use technology as a support tool for their hands-on explorations. |
| Benefits | Students ability to use the scientific processes to view the world as a scientist are greatly enhanced. The investigations allow students to apply these skills and retain the ability to use their skills as new investigations are posted. |
