Goal

The goal of this project funding is to be able to provide at least 250 copies of April Henry's books to our students & hold a small student reception with the author.
Description

April Henry, a New York Times bestselling author will be at Jensen Beach High School on Friday March 27th. Ms. Henry is also a leader in Young Adult fiction. She will speak about different aspects of her books to students in our English Language Arts classes grades 9-12.
Benefits

Students would be inspired by Ms. Henry, and the interesting young adult themes of her books. Therefore, they will be more inclined to read. For some students who would not be able to buy a book or never have owned an actual book-- having the chance to participate and receive a copy would be a big motivation to read.
