| Description | Formative is an online assessment platform, which is integrated with Google Classroom and makes worksheets easier for both the teacher and the scholar. The greatest appeal is the ability to upload an already made worksheet/quiz/test and number it as to where Distance Learners are able to type (and sometimes draw!) their answers. It can also be LIVE, so your child can also participate in class discussions/worksheets. Ms. Eckhardt is going to pay for the subscription no matter what, but if any parent of a distance learner would like to contribute: it would be so appreciated! |
| Benefits | The benefits of this format for scholars: 1. They will more often be seeing the exact same worksheet as their in-seat classmates 2. The format is more traditional than Google Forms which matches with our core values at TCCA. 3. Less worry about scanning or printing 4. Teachers can view their work LIVE at times! The benefits of this format for teachers: 1. Less time spent making two formats of the same work, thereby continuing to promote quality over quantity. 2. Less worry about how a student will print/scan and turn each assignment in. 3. More teacher friendly system of assessing work than Google Forms 4. We can view their work LIVE! |
