My goal is to receive funds to purchase ear buds with microphones for my students who do not have them.

Currently, all students are required to receive and respond to classroom instruction using the Zoom platform. All of the students cannot hear and respond to the teacher and to each other with equity. The ear buds with microphones will enable us to hear each other and speak to each other through one system. Presently, we get very loud feedback because I have to use the audio enhancement system for the room so that students can hear instruction because some students do not have ear buds. The sound projected through the speaker, and is picked up on all laptops which do not have ear buds; therefore there is feedback. Students who do not have ear buds with a microphone cannot speak to each other and have difficulty participating in class because of the size of the room and the presence of face masks. The ear buds with microphone will make access to instruction more equitable.
