Goal | Goal: To provide equipment for a new course at MCHS: Forensic Science |
Description | MCHS now has a Forensic Science course available to students. Since it is a new course, we do not have specialized equipment. Our last unit: Death and the Human Body, we have an autopsy activity. The use of the fetal pig for dissection is common practice with Forensic Science teachers. Students will conduct an autopsy, collecting all the data of a Medical Examiner from start to finish. |
Benefits | The best way to learn science is through experimentation and hands on activities. As such, labs are fundamental and require specialized equipment. These supplies will allow us to provide a robust curriculum for the students. |
