Description | Ron Clark Academy professional development is an interactive, immersive learning experience where teachers would have the opportunity to observe classes and participate in dynamic workshops that will teach them how to ignite a passion for learning, provide meaningful support, encourage academic excellence, foster authentic relationships, and ensure a climate and culture where all student thrive. While there, teacher will experience a mixture of classroom observations, workshops, and opportunities to engage directly with the staff and students. Additionally, the experience is know to inspire and motivate participants as well. If teachers are provided with this opportunity, they will share their learning with the staff upon return. |
Benefits | All educators and learners deserve more from their classroom experience. Students become engaged in their OWN learning when inspired by teachers who facilitate and guide the metacognitive process. Students who are part of their own learning score higher on high-stakes tests, enjoy the process of learning more, and therefore embed more information for future learning with successful outcomes. |
