Goal | My goal for this project is to create a space within my classroom where students can read and work comfortably to increase their reading skills. Currently we all sit together at a kidney table, my students love would to be able to sit on the floor and rug with the ability to work on the multi-sensory structured language program that we use! |
Description | A low to the ground table with floor seating for students to work in a small group with the teacher. We currently use a multi-sensory structured language approach to enhance decoding and encoding skills. |
Benefits | ESE students would have the opportunity for increased movement by changing seating, and being comfortable in the learning environment! This reading/ work space would allow students to feel comfortable while they are learning in flexible seating. |
