| Goal | My students love technology, our fifth grade curriculum is enhanced by technology, and I love technology! I want my students to have access to their online textbooks, Google Classroom interactive projects, and ways to enhance reading, writing, and research. Chrome Books are an inexpensive way to achieve my goal. I am seeking funding for five Chrome Books for my classroom. I have five desktop computers now, and adding five more devices will help so much. If this project is funded, I would like to create another Fund-A-Project that would enable me to buy more Chrome Books. For now, five Chrome Books would be just amazing! |
| Description | Chrome Books in my classroom will be used in a variety of ways on a daily basis. My students will be able to access their online textbook resources in Science, work corroboratively on Writing assignments I create in my Google Classroom, and practice math and reading skills online. Having Chrome Books will also assist me in the many ways I assess my students; iReady, FSA Practice tests, and online spelling and vocabulary assessments. |
| Benefits | More technology devices in the hands of my students will motivate, excite, and teach my students. In Middle School and High School, technology is a very big part of education. Learning research skills, keyboarding, and problem solving with Chrome Books will only make my educational program better. |
