Individuals, civic groups, non-profit organizations, and businesses can all get involved. A few hours or a few dollars can help students and teachers in our community now. Make the connection to a classroom in our community!
100% of funds go to teachers for the purchase of educational materials, supplies, resources, and opportunities to benefit their students. Teachers must adhere to the program guidelines outlining spending restrictions and deadlines. Any unused funds will revert back to the EFMC to be spent in furtherance of its mission to enrich and enhance educational opportunities and support for all students and teachers in Martin County public schools.
Our Adopt-a-Class program allows parents, grandparents,
and businesses to adopt specific classrooms online. Select the classroom of your choice and provide teachers with much needed classroom support.
Using this program, teachers request funds for projects from families and businesses to help fulfill their individual classroom needs. Here, you can view a virtual wish list that enables you to meet a classroom need with a few clicks and keystrokes.
In this section, businesses, organizations, and schools can post opportunities such as student internships, volunteer opportunities, scholarships, and teacher externships. Teachers can also post non-monetary requests. It's a place where community members can come together and provide each other with opportunities to get involved.
