| Goal | The goal of this project is to provide genuine opportunities for students to learn how to take and fill customer orders as well as practice their baking and cake decorating skills while also providing a service to a local charitable organization. |
| Description | Students will take orders from staff members at Hibiscus Children's Center for custom birthday cakes to celebrate birthdays that children have while in care at the shelter. Every $10 donated will allow our students to prepare a birthday cake for 1 child. We hope to be able to provide this service for every child that has a birthday while in care at the shelter. The total number of cakes is unknown as the number of children at the shelter fluctuates as they enter and leave care. |
