along with

National Geographic KIDS Weather by Kristin Baird Rattini"

while studying these book for reading the weather to help them see how a non-fiction book can be used to write their own non-fiction book.

These books are our mentor texts and what better way to to assist them is to each group to have one to re-read on their own.
