| Goal | Our class would love to have a community partnership with someone with gardening experience to help us create a sensory garden filled with plants and flowers that would not only contributes to the students self worth with responsibilities of taking care of living plants but also creates a classroom community because we are building something together. |

| Benefits | The entire class would benefit from our community garden because it would be a place, right outside our classroom, where they can go to “take a deep breath to calm down.” The students would feel a sense of self worth by knowing that the health of our garden depends on the care it receives. This would bridge a partnership between parents, students and our community by encouraging and inviting community “gardeners” into our classroom to help! |
