Subject | Art - Visual and Performing Arts |
Goal | To purchase art supplies for each art student to use for the 202-2021 school year. The kits would be in a mesh durable zippered bag with art supplies inside of them. Supplies would include a set of watercolors, drawing pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener, tortillion, oil pastels, ruler, sharpie marker, paint brushes, a plastic portfolio, a sketchbook and specialty paper for each project |
Description | Due to the Corona virus pandemic, students will not have art supplies like in previous years. Since we are a Title 1 school, I cannot ask for a supply fee to cover the costs of art supply kits. Art kits will cost approximately $20-$30 each. |
Benefits | Many students do not have access to any art supplies, including paper. These kits would allow students to experience art class like they would normally. These art kits would provide materials for the art students to ensure they have everything in class or at home. Each student would have access to the same materials and would be able to create without worrying about extra cost. |
