| Description | Gelli plates are versatile and can be used with a variety of materials. Clean up is very easy. They are hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and latex-free. Gel is made in the USA 3 sets need to be purchased to cover class sizes so 3 sets of 12 is the total number needed. Ink is also a necessity for this project. |
| Benefits | Printmaking is a fantastic tool for an artist. Students will learn about art history and then experiment with mirror images, positive and negative space, layering prints and also experience the process of printmaking and more.... They LOVE gelli plates and it opens their minds to learning when they are excited about a new concept. |
