| Goal | I would like to set up a "Smile Station" in our FAWE mail room with the goal of providing a one-stop-spot for employees on the FAWE campus to enjoy writing fun little notes of kindness, gratitude, or support to other staff members and to students. |
| Description | I would like to use the funding from this project to purchase the most fun pens, papers, stickers, envelopes, stamps and other note-writing items I can find. |
| Benefits | This spot will be a place of positivity and will encourage staff members to "see others" in the best light. When employees have spare moments, they can enjoy taking the time to say 'thanks,' 'I'm here for you,' or 'you're doing a great job' to another employee or to a student. Studies show that happiness levels increase and stress levels decrease when we take the time to show gratitude or do something kind for another human being. I think this simple idea can make a profound impact on the school and appreciate any support so much! |
