| Goal | Use the Pirates of Plagiarism book and bingo game to teach students the right way to cite their sources! |
| Description | The students will join the Pirates of Plagiarism for a swashbuckling bingo game that familiarizes them with the concept of plagiarism. Students identify whether or not the scenarios are examples of plagiarism. when presented with clues from callout bingo cards. |
| Benefits | Most cases of plagiarism can be avoided, however, by citing sources. Simply acknowledging that certain material has been borrowed and providing your audience with the information necessary to find that source is usually enough to prevent plagiarism. |
