Goal | The AMS - PBIS goal is to fill our store with items the students can purchase with their reward dollars. The goal may be reached by raising enough money to purchase the items or to have items donated from our Amazon Wish List. Our full goal for this school year is $2000 in cash or items. |
Description | The AMS - PBIS program is an incentive based program for interventions and supports. At AMS, we use Stallion Dollars for meeting school expectations. The students can then spend their Stallion Dollars in our school store on a variety of items. The store does not accept cash - it is entirely reward based. |
Benefits | The PBIS program is a positive behavior interventions and support system that benefits our entire school. Each student is explicitly taught expectations throughout the year and when caught "doing the right thing," they receive a reward in the form of our Stallion Dollar. The program promotes positive behaviors, builds a strong school culture, and helps students succeed both in and out of the classroom. |
