Goal

The goal is to build students' confidence as they write their own stories and informational texts.
Description

When writing, students will be able to reference their own personal dictionaries filled with common sight words, as well as words frequently used in their own writing.
Benefits

Students will have each have their own at-desk reference book. They will use this book to boost their own writing by looking up words in the spelling reference, but also adding personal words such as "soccer" or "alligator", based on their own interests.
