Goal | To provide each studentin my class with a personal book bin to store their "Just-right" books, promoting organization, responsibility, and independent reading success. |
Description | In my classroom, reading is the heart of learning, Students need easy access to books that fit their reading level and interest, which we call their "just right" books. Currently, my students don't have a designated space to keep these books organized and within reach. This can lead to lost books, wasted time, and frustration during reading time. With these bins, students will have their own special spot to keep their books. This will create a sense of ownership, organization, and engagement. It will help build strong reading habits and support a positive learning environment where every student feels prepared and confident. |
Benefits | Some of the benefits to these bins are organization and independence, maximized reading time, encouraging strong reading habits, equity and access, and supports literacy growth. |
