| Goal | To enhance collaborative problem-solving and active engagement in our 7th grade science class, we are working to implement Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) strategies. One key component is providing vertical whiteboards for students to use during group work. Whiteboards encourage movement, discussion, and visual thinking helping students share ideas, test solutions, and build deeper understanding. |
| Description | 6 Dry Erase White Boards with a stand, each set includes 10 markers and 1 eraser. This will allow for the boards to be set up around the room allowing for 6 different groups to be working at the same time. |
| Benefits | With BTC strategies, students learn by doing, not just listening. Whiteboards make it easy to erase mistakes, try new ideas, and collaborate in real time, which builds confidence and critical thinking skills. |
