| Benefits | Students will benefit through: • Improved library/media programs through implementation of up-to-date best practices, which can increase student engagement, reading achievement, information literacy, and digital literacy. • Broader access to book programs, reading initiatives, and statewide programs (e.g. book voting programs) that enrich students’ reading experiences. • More diverse and high-quality resources (print, digital, media) curated by a media specialist who is well-informed and resourced. • Programs and events brought to the school (or aligned with the school) through FAME initiatives that encourage students’ love of reading and learning. |
