| Description | Orange Blossom books are similar to Sunshine State books except they are non-fiction books. The list includes ten wonderfully written non-fiction books that inspire and educate. |
| Benefits | These books will help our readers improve their non-fiction reading skills. And the books themselves are motivational (Pedro's Yo-Yos, The Girls Who Figured it Out, and Next Scientist). Several bring in STEAM knowledge (Food for the Future, Next Scientest, Almost Underwear, The Painter, Haiku Ew!) and others purely educational in scientific knowldedge. (dinosuars, The Deep, Octopus and Haiku). I would like each grade level to have a set of the books so that they can read and share with their classes. I will also be creating an all school incentive centered on these titles. |
