| Goal | Attend the Get Your Teach on Conference in Orlando to expand my instructional expertise, strengthen student engagement strategies, and bring innovative, research-based practices back to my second grade classroom and school community. |
| Description | The Get Your Teach On Conference provides high-quality professional learning focused on effective instructional strategies, student engagement, and classroom innovation. As a second grade teacher, attending this conference will allow me to deepen my understanding of best practices that support student achievement and active learning. I previously attended this conference two years ago, and the experience had a meaningful impact on my teaching. The strategies I learned were immediately implemented in my classroom and significantly increased student engagement and participation. In addition, I shared the knowledge gained by leading professional development sessions for teachers at my school and facilitating a district-level professional development session for fellow educators. By attending this conference again, I will continue to refine my instructional practices, gain new strategies aligned with current educational research, and collaborate with other educators who are committed to innovative teaching. The learning from this experience will extend beyond my classroom as I continue to share effective strategies with colleagues and support a culture of continuous professional growth within my school and district. |
| Benefits | Participating in this professional learning opportunity will strengthen my instructional practices, increase my ability to engage and motivate students, and expand my leadership capacity within my school community. The strategies and resources gained will allow me to enhance student learning experiences while also equipping me to share impactful instructional practices with colleagues through collaboration and professional development. This opportunity supports my continued growth as an educator and instructional leader dedicated to improving student outcomes and supporting teacher development. I also say to students that you never stop learning and growing and that is also true for me as their teacher. |
