| Description | Jensen Beach High School will host a two-week College Essay Workshop Series for junior English Language Arts students led by award-winning author and former university professor Sonja S. Mongar, MFA. The program will consist of six 1.5-hour workshops that guide students through brainstorming, drafting, revising, and refining authentic and effective college admission essays. |
| Benefits | Students will gain valuable writing, critical thinking, and self-reflection skills while developing stronger college essays that showcase their unique experiences and goals. The workshops will increase students' confidence in the college application process and provide direct access to professional-level writing instruction that many would not otherwise receive. |
