Motivating middle school students can be a challenge, but I firmly believe that just because students have left elementary school, it doesn't mean the fun and excitement of learning should disappear. Middle schools students still need the opportunity to be KIDS, celebrate their accomplishments, and have something fun to look forward to. Finding creative ways to inspire them, build confidence, and recognize their hard work can make all the difference in their attitude towards learning.

Whether they're working towards an IXL goal, showing growth on their FAST assessments, or participating in classroom academic challenges, I want to give them something FUN to work toward. It's not always about earning the highest score; it's about effort, perseverance, grit, and celebrating every step forward.
