| Goal | Provide classroom camera for AICE Media Studies students at MCHS to create original photography for their magazines and accompanying blogs while developing skills in visual storytelling, composition, and digital media production. The magazine and blog is a requirement of the AICE Media Studies Exam |
| Description | My students are becoming media creators, learning how images and design communicate ideas to an audience. For their coursework, they need to produce original photography for their magazine and document their creative process through blogs. Because students can't use their phones for classroom photography under our schools phone policy, access to a dedicated camera would give them an essential tool to complete this work. Funding this project would allow us to purchase a shared classroom camera so students can create high-quality images without needing to own personal photography equipment. |
| Benefits | This camera will serve current and future classes, providing hands-on learning opportunities that build creativity, confidence, and practice media skills. Your support will help students take ownership of their work and tell stories through their own lens. |
