| Description | Every year a list of 15 novels that are highly engaging for readers is released by the Sunshine State Young Readers Association. There is a competition in Martin county at the end of the school year called the Book Bowl that students in elementary schools all over the county compete in using these books as question material. I would love to have these books available to my students so that they can participate in the Book Bowl as well as start book discussions about them in my class. |
| Benefits | Students are always benefitted by having a rich variety of reading materials. I am also hoping to encourage a life long love of reading. Students will also benefit from the experience of having many group discussions on these novels. |
